Low-pressure die casting is a method of using pressure instead of gravity to produce parts using molten metals such as aluminum and magnesium. In this method, the metal part is placed at the bottom of the mold and filled upwards through a pipe.
The advantages of this method include precise control of the filling process, reduced oxide formation and superior consistency of the parts. This results in high quality, density and strength of the end products, as well as excellent dimensional accuracy.
